 Celebrating Girls Every Day at ChildVoice

Today may be the International Day of the Girl, but at ChildVoice we are committed to making a difference in the lives of the girls in Uganda every day.

When you help a girl succeed in life, you break the cycle of poverty in just one generation. And, you can change the course of a community like Lukodi in northern Uganda forever.

There is a global movement to build better futures for girls. ChildVoice is a part of this effort, by providing:

Empowerment: Our therapeutic community at the Lukome Center enables girls to put behind the horrors of their past and move forward into a better future.

Education: At the Lukome Center, girls are taught how to become successful entrepreneurs and better parents. They have the skills they need to provide for themselves and their families.

Protection: When a girl has an education and is empowered to work a job and raise a family, they are less likely to need to sell their bodies for the money they need to raise their kids.
