Sunday, April 27 at 1:00 pm ChildVoice will be holding our first annual Walk a Mile in Their Shoes fundraiser at UNH’s Scott Hall Lawn.
The walk is being held in honor of the hundreds of thousands of children affected by war in Uganda and other east African countries who have had to walk hundreds of miles to escape violence. In Uganda, children were abducted from their homes by armed rebel groups and forced to become armed combatants. Those were lucky enough to escape had to walk many miles to freedom.
